Dit artikel schrijft over drie onderzoeken die laten zien dat neurotypische mensen in de eerste seconden van de ontmoeting met een autist beslissen dat deze minder interessant is om mee te socialiseren dan andere neurotypische mensen. Ofwel: autistische mensen zijn niet zozeer niet sociaal maar worden zo gezien. Een selffulfilling prophecy dus.
